Billing
- Valid or invalid, no country — 1 credit
- Valid or invalid, country returned — 2 credits
- Unknown, error, risky — 0, with or without the flag
Asking for country and not getting one does not double the price. If only one credit remains, the check still runs at 1 credit and country is omitted. The job cost card shows billed-at-1 vs billed-at-2 so the invoice matches the file.
What you see
On a finished bulk job the dashboard maps the top countries (ISO codes and flags). Exports include a Valid + country segment when that add-on was on. The API returns a country field on the verify payload when we have one.
Use it to spot list geography, not as a KYC product. We do not sell a “100% country” guarantee — some valid mailboxes have no country we can attach.
API and bulk
Single check: include_country: true on POST /api/v1/verify. Bulk: the same flag on job start (JSON or the dashboard checkbox). Same credits as the rest of the product. Full examples are in the docs.
